Hotel located at the end of small road through Nyuhkuning village.
Nameplate stands beside the road just before Monkey Forest. We go down to left.
Private road is covered by woods and about 100m long to entrance. You cannot see hotel from the road.

We got off the car at end of private road, and went up the small stairs, then reached the hotel robby covered by glass roof without wall. There were some tables you can have a breakfast. If you want to ask something, you have to come up to this robby, because all rooms do not have telephone to keep silent hotellife.

Terrace of Gardenia. In the high noon, we laid on the sofa in the room( not shown in the dark) to avoid strong sunshine. In the morning and evening it was the best to spend time at the terrace. In the evening, someone set 2 mosquito-incenses on the terrace, but I never saw who set.
We had breakfasts some times on this table. Flower had been changed before drooped. Some dishes of floors for praying God were changed every morning.
2 pools are always vacant, smaller one is very shallow for children. We saw guests only 2 days among 10 days.

Bedroom is open for surrounding atmosphere. Toilet and dressing room are in left.
Bathroom has western stile tub and outdoor shower. Attention to voltage and receptacle shape for shaver, I ask to bring transformer for my shaver.
Beside the bathtub, there is a big window, you can enjoy beautiful scene. But pay attention, anyone can look into bathroom through this window.
As long staying in same hotel, as many curious(interesting or smiling or...) things rushed to us.
Because of small hotel and few guests, we met other gests very few times. Almost of such case were breakfast at robby, we said only HI!. Maybe they wanted to spend not-disturbing life same as us. One day in the night we had to take on same small car with 2 matured ladies. There was only one car for transport the guests. We took dinner in Ubud village and call the car to pick up. Driver came up to us and said "Sir, I am sorry. I am going to pick up other 2 guests." 2 guests were a thin lady and big lady(once young lady). I saw them in the hotel. They also went back from dinner. Where did you go? Which restaurants have you ever been? What is your favorite? All conversation is food! They went to Casa Luna & Chili Cafe, both are very good, they said. Aha, they went to same restaurant. We did not go to Casa Luna yet, OK, we will go to next. We suggest wonderful BBQ restaurant Glliya. I talked to a thin lady only, maybe other lady was very shy to speak to gentleman like me... I could not imagine the relationship between two ladies, who came from Holland far far away.
There was a queen size bed with shed and net at the bed room at 2nd floor. To keep quiet hotel life, there was no TV, telephone, video nor newspaper in the room. I brought a small clock from Japan, and put it at the bed. One day I found few white powder spreading like a ring near my clock.??? I did not see such powder in the morning... Did I spill something? No. Oh I see! Must be white ants! Looking into the bottom of bed, ah,there is another ring of powder...These 2 rings located 20cm apart from wall. For some days in this hotel, I found gechoes, ants, dragonfries, bees, mosquitos, butterfries and finally white ants!\(^^)/ Even unwelcomed guests are accepted if they all do not come at same time. I found last guests 10PM, it was too late to call housekeeper. Wll I decided to call him next morning. My wife and me move a little bit far from white ants, still on the same bed this night.
Next morning we got up to lobby to have a breakfast, and told him that we found white ants on the bed. He answered clearly "OK! I will check and spray!" やっぱりよくあることだからね〜。これが日本のオネーチャンだったらそれこそ大騒ぎになるんだろうなあ。ところが部屋で待てどくらせど誰も来ません。どうなってるんだか。シビレを切らせて昼ごろにオフィスに行って話をしました。朝に言ったのにまだ来ないよ、どうしたの？ そうすると、あなたがたが外出している間に消毒しようと思ってたと。あれま、そこまで気をつかっていただいて、こっちはそれをヒマつぶしのタネにしようと思って待ち構えてたんだよ〜とは言えません。気にしないから消毒してよ。今からいっしょに来てくれる？というとさっそくスプレー缶を持ってついてきてくれました。部屋に戻り、くだんの粉を見せ、ホラここにあるだろ、こっちのベッド下にもあるだろ、と３人で見て、これは白アリに間違いないとの結論に。でさっそくスプレーをしました。体に悪いからお客さんは離れて見ていてくれと。もう楽しんだので、ブラブラ散歩に出かけてくるね〜後はよろしく。帰ってくるとキレイに掃除して粉もなくなっていました。かすかにスプレーのあとが光っていました。その晩はまったく粉が出ず、以後チェックアウトするまでキレイサッパリでした。あのスプレーは相当に強烈です。見ていなくてよかったよかった。
日本にいるバーチャンに電話しておこうとオフィスに行きました。日本に電話したいと言うと国別コード８１を押して．．．とかけかたを教えてくれるので、いや知っているからいいよ。料金はどうするの？ 電話の横にストップウォッチを置いて、つながったらスイッチを押して、終わったらもう一度押して下さい。なんと原始的。ウソつくやつはいないんだろうか？
電話で思い出したけれど、実は家の電話機は昔ながらのダイヤル式（ジーコジーコまわすやつ）です。真っ黒の電話機。子供の友達がかけようとしてわからなかった。そういえばバリでも見かけたことはないなあ。骨董品みたいなものなのでプッシュホンには交換しません。
今回の旅行は雨季の終わりごろで雨が１日に１回降ってました。ですから湿度も高く洗濯物もなかなか乾きません。ホテルのランドリーも即日はできませんと書いてあるくらいです。バスルームでは下着も乾かないので寝室のファン（天井からブラ下がってるやつ）の下で乾かそうと思いました。そのままにして遊びにでかけ夕方に戻ってくると、ブラ下げてあった下着がキチンとたたまれていたと妻がサワイでいます。やはり、アカの他人に自分の下着を触られるのはガマンならんそうです。というわけで、以後外出中は下着をタンスの中にしまっておくことになりました。ドライヤーで乾かすほどにマメではないのね。
